Worship is loving God and living his Word, but I can’t emphasize enough that worship is not a yoke of human effort to get religion right and pry some blessing out of heaven. The apostle John wrote, “This how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And [notice this] his commands are not burdensome” (1 John 5:2-3).
