List of Unacceptable Worship Actions Towards God

#15 Repetitive Prayers. When you talk with God with no purpose or real meaning. Just saying anything!

Do you think this action is acceptable worship towards God? I hope not. But why? Let’s read Matthew 6:7-8 for the answer:

“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

When you pray to God, He is looking for your spirit to speak in truth and not be like the heathen (pagan), thinking God is hearing them. John 9:31 states, “Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, Him he heareth.”

Everyone is born in sin because of the curse of the law, however, God sent Jesus to help us to receive His free gift of life. If you haven’t accepted your gift, please read John 3:16-17, and say a truthful prayer of repentance. Everyone needs God in their life. Salvation helps us to have peace in this life.

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. – Romans 5:19

King James Version

After accepting the Messiah, Jesus Christ, you begin to pray daily to God. He is daily seeking your praise and prayers (John 4:23-24). From studying the Word of God, you will understand and know that God only accepts sacrificial offerings. This website will show you how to worship God correctly by joining with others as they study the praise and worship bible study course.

“Don’t be like them” – the heathen: for they speak with many words of nonsense. To be seen in the congregational prayers, or shouting loudly during prayers, or saying a long prayer for dinner. I hope you are getting the point. God does not like it. You are admonished in Matthew 6 verse number eight: Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”

This scripture is truly stated for you, however, you must believe in what God is saying to you is true? Anyone saying long prayers are not worshipping God, especially if you are showing off, or thinking that God likes your sinful ways. Are you kidding? Never take God’s grace and mercy for granted. If you are doing that, please stop and correct your actions. This is not a joke. Saying vain repetitions in your prayers are always unacceptable worship.
