Acknowledge the Truth of Sin

What is sin? Why do I have it within me? According to God’s Holy Word, a sin is an immortal act against God’s divine laws of safety. This daily transgression of offense dwells in the heart and mind of humanity through the actions of the first created man and woman, Adam and Eve (Genesis 2). All people are their descendants, which birthed this wrong-doing in life today: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). If you fall short of being in right standing with God, then you are a sinner. Sin’s desire is to control you (Genesis 4:7), and by the curse of the law is the knowledge of sin (Romans 3:20).

Reject Evil and Sin

“Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.”

Proverbs 13:21 KJV

People are sinners because of their daily practices to disobey God’s rules (1 John 3:4, 8). The curse brought forth the knowledge of evil, and the sin separation from the Holy One. In order to have access to the Creator, you must war against your sin’s nature: “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace (Romans 6:14).” There are two things you must acknowledge according to Job 28:28 and James 4:7:

“…Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.”

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Fearing the Lord and submitting yourself to Him are the same thing, just like departing from evil and resisting it is one and the same.

You have a part to play in this road worth traveling on. Reject sin, and “Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore (Psalm 37:27).”

.

Acknowledge and Know that You Need a Savior

“I am the door: by me [Jesus] if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

John 10:9 KJV

Many have acknowledged Jesus’ Name, but don’t understand its true purpose for us. He is the only way to the Creator God (John 14:6). He came not to condemn but to save us from our sins (John 3:16-17). What did Jesus say in Matthew 9:13? “But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

His desire is to have mercy according to the grace of God and not by the practice of daily sacrifice (Hosea 6:6). Acknowledge Him as Messiah; the way, the truth, and the life that leads you to our Creator of the Universe, Almighty God. History tells of Jesus’ story that He died and rose again for every man, woman, boy, or girl (1 Corinthians 15). Why? To be the sacrificial lamb to pay for the wages of sin (Romans 6:23):

If you desire to walk in righteousness from this point forward, Salvation is in Jesus Christ, our Savior. You have to ask for it by faith through your prayers. Your sins will be remitted (Luke 1:77).

Accept Your Free Gift of Salvation

“To him [Jesus] give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”

Acts 10:43 KJV

Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved from their sins (Acts 2:21). Let’s read this story found in Acts Chapter 4 about John and Peter arrested for teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection from the dead. This is their response to this question: (v.7)“By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?”

Peter said (starting at v. 9):

If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

(V. 18) The Leaders of the Jerusalem’s Temple commanded that Peter and John didn’t speak in the name of Jesus.

19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

Why did I share this story with you today?

There are many people professing to know Jesus Christ without rejecting sin and evil. If the power of God, the anointing of the Holy One, rested on you, like Peter and John. Jesus Christ’s mercy will not be put away for the false doctrine of this phrase, “God will forgive me” no matter what you do. God forbid. Please stop taking the grace of God for granted. The boldness of the Holy Spirit is true. You will never be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Take a righteous stand. If you access His free gift of Salvation today, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19).” The time is now. You must know that Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone in verse 11. The foundation of our confession of faith.

“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

Revelation 13:8 KJV

Worship Only God

This is our second commandment found in Deuteronomy 5:8-10 the book of Moses’ laws to God’s people. Let’s read it:

“Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.”

You shall not make for yourself an idol [as an object to worship]. You shall not worship them or serve them. You were created to worship only God. The law was written for us to acknowledge our sins, and for those who are sinners of disobedience (1 Timothy 1:9).

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”

Acts 26:18 KJV

“Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law (Romans 3:31).” It was given to confirm and establish and uphold the Law. We worship God just because He is! Fill in the blank according to the written words about Him. Jehovah Jireh is one of them, your provider. Jehovah Nissi, your banner, and many other holy names.

God sent His Son, Jesus to redeem us to worship Him correctly according to John 4:23,

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

This is the Spirit of the Sacred Laws: True worshippers worship genuinely, and with the truth of the Messiah. God seeks such people to be His worshippers.

What did Jesus say about worshipping God? Jesus tells Satan “worship only God and serve Him” (Matt. 4:10). Yes this fact is true! However is worship only reserved for the Creator? I don’t think so. Jesus is worthy of praise. He even stated that in John 8:24, I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Without the Messiah, we could not give our best praise and worship to God. Sin has separated us from the love of God. The Almighty Creator God has given us a sacred Lord and Deliverer. “They shall call His name Emmanuel” (God with us – Matthew 1:23), born to save. Kalesousin which is greek translated in English for us as “they will call.” That phrase means to invite, call to, or summon. John 1:1 expressed this same emerging divine utterance. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth (John 1:14).”

In other words, the Logos of God (they will call into existence – the Word) became flesh on the earth by the same (one) Spirit. So what body suit was used for God’s glory? Emmanuel, the only begotten son, Jesus Christ from the Father God. The defined word of Emmanuel, ”God with Us,” equals the Savior. This is the truth you needed to know according to John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.” God and Jesus are one in essence and nature. Worship the natural essence and supernatural essence of God.

Learn about Praise and Worship

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:24 JKV

God is Spirit [invisible to mankind]: and the True Worshippers must worship the Source of Life from their spirit to His according to the Truth.

The Lord of Glory wants this communication with His people. Worship is the only thing that must be understood and followed correctly. If you want God to accept your offering. Today’s Christian churches are not teaching their people to praise and worship God His way only. Your way is never the right way, and following someone else praise is not correct either. Listening to Christian Music is not praise and worship towards God. It’s just entertainment. Learning is the principal thing that you need to do God’s commands (2 Timothy 2:15).

What did the bible state about these unacceptable actions toward God? My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children (Hosea 6:6).

There are NO more priests to God. The wolves or false leaders express an evil interpretation of the Holy Scriptures and hindered spiritual growth for the body of Christ. They are shutting you from the true kingdom of heaven and stopping you from entering the holiest place, the true presence of God.

If you are struggling with learning about praise and worship, this website has basic knowledge on this topic, click here to get the bible study course.

Praise and Worship, these two words, were hijacked by the music industry. The Followers of Jesus Christ need to know that they are your reasonable services. Learning God’s principles about worship are unchangeable judgments. Everyone worships, so that is why it’s vitally important to learn the truly acceptable way to worship Almighty God.

“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him [Jesus Christ], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin (Romans 6:6).” Please don’t be deceived by this new programming of worship. It will never hold up to God’s holiness. Selah.

Acknowledge God in All Your Ways

“Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.”

John 9:31 KJV

Your desire to worship from a genuine place is an excellent start. Communication is the key to praise and worship. It must be a reciprocal relationship if you want the purpose of God to flow in your life.

Your prayers are expressed to help yourself and others, but to have great prayers, you must do and follow the instructions found in the Word of God. For example, James 5:16 states, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” These prayers are persistent with tremendous power.

By Faith, you believe therefore you act. It is the same way with acknowledging God in all of your ways (Proverbs 3:16). Daily have open communication with Holy One. Lord of Glory, and the Spirit of the Living God. Whatever you may call God, your faith must be active. Believe that He will direct your path, and remove any obstacles in your way. Together with God, your confidence will develop to maturity by receiving the meat of the Word. Praise the Lord!

Give Daily Sacrificial Offerings to God

By him [Jesus] therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Hebrews 13:15 KJV

Your voice is required for this one. You must praise out loud with thanksgiving. Daily seek God’s presence with respect. In prayers, confess your faults, be grateful, and get counsel. Acknowledge the Lord and glorify His name. Let go of your problems. Give every worry or care to the Lord. This action is continuous. It never stops. It is like Psalms 150. Let’s read it:

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Whatever is made is first created by the source; which is honored and respected. If we can praise others, then why can’t we daily give praise and thanksgiving to God? He is the Source, Creator of this Universe; who is ALWAYS worthy of our praise and worship. He is more precious that any stone – diamonds, rubies, etc. The treasure that no man can steal from. Lift up your hands with praise. Say, thank you Lord!

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

God supports the Believer in Christ, but it is the Believer’s responsibility to do what he has been called by God to do. This is why Hebrews 13:15 is so important to follow. Give your best to your God. Offer your sacrifice to Him. Not your way, even with good intentions. Every praise and worship must cost you something. This is a sacrifice.

Worship is giving with love expressed. How to offer respectable worship? It is understood before you can express your love for Him. Genesis 4:7 (AMP) states the overall principle of worship. I suggest that you apply this to your heart, mind, and soul: “If you do well [believing Me and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Me], will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well [but ignore My instruction], sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you [to overpower you], but you must master it.”
