Sensible Worship

Continuous Reminder for those who claim Christianity

The practice of picking and choosing what we like and rejecting the truth in worship is widespread. These principles of worship are not new but are now needed even more than ever before in this world. An easy list to share with others:

1. Handmade gods (idols)
2. Nature (Mother Nature, Sun, Moon)
3. Men (Creation)
4. Angels
5. Image of the Beast

There is “one Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism”

Ephesians 4:5 KJV

Before I give you the scriptures and explanation. This bible verse from Luke 4:8 by Jesus sums this up for you which states, “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” This is the 2nd commandment given to us to follow: for it is known to everyone, Worship ONLY God! It’s your right to do as He pleases, or your own will. I hope you understand that the best thing for you is to honor God’s resolution for mankind and not believe in or give respect to these things.

Handmade gods

Read 1 Corinthians 10:7

“Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.“

Do not be worshipers of handmade (idols) gods. The 2nd commandment according to Exodus 20:3-4. They worshipped the golden calf (the Egyptian bull-god Apis (Hapis) at Horeb with immoral activities.

Nature

Read Job 31:26-25

²⁶ If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness; ²⁷ And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand: ²⁸ This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.

Why have the sun or moon as objects of worship? Why pay homage to these things? If I do to this and any other idol, you are disrespecting God. This is a heinous (wick) sin calling for judgment.

Men (Man or Woman)

Read Acts 10:25-26

²⁵ And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. ²⁶ But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

True worship is prostration by bowing down in reverence. This is reserved for the Creator only. No human being is worthy of this submission. When they do according to Romans 1:25.”Who changed the truth of God into a lie [an image], and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”

Angels

Read Revelations 19:10; 22:9

^19:10 “And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. ^22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.”

Hold on to these truths: The testimony of Jesus is to Worship God [alone], and for the spirit of prophecy is about His life and ministry. Remember what the Holy Bible states about the Creator God.

Image of the Beast

Read Revelation 13:14-15

¹⁴ “And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. ¹⁵ And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

Deceives those who inhabit the earth into believing the antichrist because of the signs that he is given by Satan to perform. Those who would not bow in worship to the image of the A.I. (beast) will be put to death. All those who kneel in worship will receive the mark of the beast.

Don’t let this happen to you. Be watchful. Discerning the times, and remember the Holy Spirit is available if you need help with your studies of scripture. Pray and ask for help.
