How do you get God’s attention? Do you know? God makes Himself known through your praise.
When was the last time that you praise the Lord with all of your might? Selah (Think about it). Please give it some clear thought, so you may put it into practice each day.
Praising God is what you were meant to do. It is your purpose in life. If you want a blessing to be available to you, commune with God. Be thankful for this is where praise starts, or simply by the name Judah.
God loved King Judah (Psalm 78:67-68), because of His mother Leah’s confession of praise to God. He walked this earth in favor with God and man. Do you recall Judah? He is the third son of Jacob (of the 12 tribes of Israel). The House of Judah’s blessing is still continuing until this very day. How you may ask? Well let’s read some bible scriptures below before I answer:
Jacob blessed Judah with these words from Genesis 49:8, “Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.”
Praise, which Judah’s name means, will lead the way of the Lord. Y’hudah or Yadah means to revere or worship with extended hands, to praise, or give thanksgiving. When you acknowledge God through your praise, He is attracted to it. Your obedience brings on a special blessing.
In Judges 20:18 states, “And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the Lord said, Judah, shall go up first.” Do you understand this honor? The blessing of the Lord has no sorrow in it. You are what God created you to be – A Praiser of the Lord, A Leader of God! This an excellent example of going first, leading the way.
If no one praise the Lord, Judah and his leaders will. Praise is vital to your dedication, and in Nehemiah 12:31 the sanctification of the wall in Jerusalem had “the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks.”
When you appreciate what the Lord is doing in your life, you are thankful, and in return, God will lift you up on high. Judah’s actions were manifest in His life by the mention of his name:
- In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel (Psalm 76:1).
- Judah is my lawgiver (Psalm 108:8).
- Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion (Psalm 114:2).
God’s authority is shown to us from the history of King David and his descendants until the Messiah, Jesus founded in Revelation 5:5, “And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” Judah was mentioned in Revelation 7:5 as well because He is the leader of the tribes of 12,000 to be sealed at the end of days.
Oh yes, Judah is praised! Are you willing to change your name to Judah yet? When the Lord calls Judah, He is found doing God’s will. Oh House of Judah, your name is known, because you cry out in praise! Cry out forever more. The blessing of Judah was in his name and in the favor God showed to him.
Will you be a Judah (praise the Lord) today? When you are called, a special blessing comes to all who will worship in spirit and truth, PRAISE HIM! Take your prescription of consistent praise. Everyone named Judah by birth, show yourself strong and mighty in the Lord through your name. Praise the Lord! Every time someone calls you, it’s praise time!
Great confidence comes to all what who speak to Judah as well. Praising God is the medicine to take. In the presence of God, you will be healed. No matter what you need, God will inhabit your praise.
Try it out, Judah! (Praise the Lord) Dwell in the secret place of the Most High and Be Safe (only if you take your praise medicine, right!) Glory Hallelujah!
