“Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the Lord.“
Elkanah and Hannah worshipped God and He gave Hannah’s womb abundance. They named their newborn Samuel. In their appreciation, Hannah offered Samuel back to the Lord. One of the great prophets during Israel’s generation with God.
As long as Samuel lived on this earth, Hannah and Elkanah lent him to the Lord.
How many people could cry out to God from a barren womb to have a prospered one during the conception of this child? Yes, they would like to have a baby, but would not give it away.
The choice is always you. But if you are truly thankful, first-fruits are warranted don’t you think! This is a true picture of giving an offering of worship to God.
What will you request and then return it back to the Lord today? Please think about this one for a week or so.
