Worship

“But the Lord, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.“
The children of Jacob, whom God named Israel, they don’t take seriously what He says regarding how to behave and what to believe. In God’s patience and love, He made a covenant with them and repeated the second commandment.
“Don’t honor other gods: Don’t worship them, don’t serve them, don’t offer sacrifices to them.”
What should you be doing, if you don’t know children of God? Worship God, the God who delivered you from Egypt (a place of bondage) in great and personal power. Reverence and fear Him. Worship Him. Sacrifice to him. And only Him!
Today there are too many people worshipping unacceptable; still worshipping any old futile thing. Not really, worshipping the correct way that will please God. Remember obedience to His Words are better than sacrifices.
You don’t want to do godly things thinking that God is pleased with it. On judgment day, it will be sad make it to Heaven, and He says, “I don’t know you.” That’s truly something to think about. Works are not for God; they are for you and those around you.
Please do God’s will for your life! Worship Him on His terms.
