“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Romans 12:2 KJV

Metamorphosis. Many people understand the usage of this word by seeing the beautiful butterflies transformed from caterpillars. For the change to occur, the caterpillar starts the larval stage by wrapping itself with silken threads and sleeps. This is the Greek word that helps us to understand this movement, or becoming transformed into what God called us to be. The process that leads to an outward, permanent change.

Meditation – Being more present in our circumstances, and less connected to worldly things. Just a few minutes each day in a quiet place to change your view, just like the scriptures said, “And be not conformed to this world” with their superficial values and customs. Let God change you inside with a new way of thinking with the help of the Holy Spirit.

How to get rid of distractions?

Learn to change things by reading God’s word, training yourself in the discipline of thoughts and feelings, and focusing on godly standards and ethical attitudes. Becoming more aware of your ability to discern between good and evil. Progressively changed as you mature spiritually in the Lord. Each day of meditating, acknowledge the Lord, and He will direct your path. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. Your thoughts and feelings will change, and stay focused on what is good and pleasing to Him. You will know how to move on this earth freely, “and perfect” in His (“will”) plan and purpose for you.

Here are the basics for Christian meditation:

Be Calm, Breathe slowly, Pray, and Stay focused. You must carry this with you in whatever you are doing.

Let Practice to Change Our View:

You can sit down or lay down and start to meditate with confidence in believing God is able with your ability to embrace His love. The Heavenly Father loves you. Feel this love and hope by relaxing and taking in three complete breaths.

Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Oxygen is good for the body. It loves the flow of life. Listen to your body’s heartbeat, heavy sound of breath, bird’s singing, etc. Now, close your eyes and repent 3 more complete breaths. Stay free and relax. Don’t let your mind wander. When it does, always go back to listening to your own body sounds.

How to let go of situations? There are times when acknowledging God before, during, and after the situation, you will recognize the moment when the Holy Spirit comforted your heart and mind. Enjoy His presence and let lightness come into your personal space. Let your body unwind. Let your body fill in the air, have your natural rhythm flow, and let go in Christ Jesus.

Recognize how you feel? Acknowledge if your body is stressed or at ease. When you are settled in your mind, give God praise. There are times when being still in the Lord, helps you to remember in Christ you live and move and have His being. His peace is given to you, so focus on that before you move or get up.

How to receive unconditional love? Respect God and His image, which you are. To love oneself and forgive your mistakes. Your pass is not your present. You are living in this moment. Unconditional love comes when you can love yourself more, and treat others with the same respect – no matter who they are.

How to purge your mind? Prayers will help you to be happy and not bitter. Confession is good for your mind. It cleans up the cluttered that fills your mind with negativity and doubt. In Christ, there is liberty and freedom. Focus your mind without feeling sorry for your actions. Give your worries to the Lord.

Meditation has been around for centuries and has given peace to those who found it. As Christians, our focus and study is on the Word of God; it is the power of salvation and help to save us from our sins. Here are a few scriptures on this topic:

Psalm 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

Psalm 104:34 “My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.”

Psalm 119:11,15,97-99 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee…

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the Law.

Let you change your view in the light of God and His divine instructions for mankind. You do not have to be without peace and safety – physically or spiritually. When IN Doubt, Think On These Things ( Mediate on) from Philippians 4:8:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

I encourage you my brother or sister in Christ. We are to tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ Jesus.

You must force the devil to leave you through your prayers and praise to God according to James 4:7-8, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Yes, this is true! Submit to the authority of God and the Holy Spirit will help you to fight against the devil, then he will run away from you. “Come near to God” in your prayers and listen out for what to do or say, while waiting, for your next move (see verse 8), “and He will come near to you.” The Father God is seeking such a person with a genuine heart for worship (John 4:23-24); who knows the truth of Jesus Christ.

In Him, we can capture every thought and make it stop distracting or harassing us. By Faith, we believe therefore “Greater is He that resides inside of us (1 John 4:4)” that the devil and demons are in this world. If you cannot make it or then give up, you need to have a contrite heart.

Contrition is vitally important. “Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” You are trying to follow God and the world at the same time. “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other (Matthew 6:24)” This is the true reason for the devil not leaving his children.

Every being must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of All. When you purify your unfaithful heart, then you can make your thinking pure.
