Our Prayers Are Worship

All glory and honor belong to our God because our daily prayers are acceptable worship towards Him. We pray to communicate with Him through our prayers. Most of the time, we are healed – emotionally, financially, and physically, because we decided to pray and believe what James 5:16 states, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” How wonderful it is to worship God in spirit and truth; recognizing the Source of all things as we give a spoken or unspoken prayer of worship to Him! In prayer, we love, honor, adore, respect, and believe in faith that He will help our situation. Our hearts go out to Him, just as Apostle Paul states in Romans 10:1, “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” It is also God’s will and our hope through our effectual fervent prayer. Jesus Christ taught us to believe by faith in Matthew 6:9-13; which is the Lord’s Prayer:

“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

This is a model we can use when we start off praying for the first time. “But let him ask (pray) in faith, nothing wavering,” according to James 1:6-7. “For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.” You must pray in faith without hesitating or doubting. God will hear you and answer your prayer. Believe in Almighty God, because anything not done by faith is sin (Romans 14:23b).

Only obedient children of God are being heard by Him through their prayers. The more you love, forgive, and praise you will see God’s marvelous works happening for you and those around you. Unbelievers of Jesus Christ (sinners), their prayers are not heard, according to John 9:31, “Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.” The only time a sinner’s prayer is heard is when they have a desire to be saved by the grace of God through Jesus’ shed blood. Being separated from God is a serious thing! The Sin of Iniquity is a stronghold that always goes against the commands of God. Sin will keep you in bondage to fear, so you will not have a desire to seek God’s grace. Isaiah 59:2 states, “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

Praise God there is hope! Turn from your sins and pray for deliverance. Become obedient children of God and become a true acceptable worshippers for Him. Daily the Lord God looks out for the Believers in Christ according to 1 Peter 3:12, “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.” Glory Hallelujah! God’s hedge of protection is available because of our prayers of worship.
