Why God Seeks His Worshippers?
John 4:23 states, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
Any good relationship is reciprocal. Before you accepted salvation, God was looking through the world for those who respected Him with love, according to 2 Chronicles 16:9a: “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.”
Is your heart perfect toward God? Let’s read a few scriptures before you give a good answer:
1 Chronicles 16:10 -11 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.
Psalm 14:2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
Psalm 105:3-4 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

If you continue to seek God, understand His ways, and rejoice in them, you will be a man or woman after His own heart. This will mean that you and God have an excellent relationship. If you cannot truly say within yourself you do, please do as the scriptures suggest. By doing so, you will draw close to Him, according to James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”
Seek the Lord while He may be found. Do not take this opportunity for granted: for it is not promised to anyone. Hebrews 10:22 states, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.” Glory Hallelujah! We can come close to the Lord at any time. We can enter into God’s presence (see Hebrews 4:16), just like He inhabits our praises (see Psalm 22:3). When we do our part as a true worshipper, God will definitely seek and take part in our praise and worship.
Now, you can see that God created us to worship; to have a genuine relationship with Him. That’s why He is daily seeking us out! God loves you and me. In return, we get to love Him back through adoration.
