“Our study of the Bible is only beneficial insofar as it increases our love for the God it proclaims!” ― Jen Wilkin
Hey Worshipper of God,
I’m so glad that the Holy Spirit of the Living God dropped that bit of information to you personal. Over the few centuries, the word worship has been changed in the spelling and meaning. Now, its usage is watered down to a little more than words of thin air. God has never at any time changed His attributes. Maybe His character in which something is done to please Him, however God remains the same.
Let’s read Chapter 4 of John, along with our key bible scriptures starting at verse 20 until verse 24:
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
The Samaritan Woman is speaking with Jesus Christ from her understanding of worship. Just like most people, until they study the holy scriptures and learn the basics with understanding. The Holy Spirit through the knowledge of Jesus, GIVES US TRUTH (see verse 23), as the Messiah did for her.
“Worship the Father [God] in spirit and in truth” is the genuine heart that anyone who seeks Him will have.

“If you’re not worshiping God on Monday the way you did the day before, perhaps you’re not worshiping him at all.” – A.W. Tozer
“What a great and might God we serve? I thank you Lord for this day, and praise You for Your goodness. You are wonderful to me. I started truly praising the Lord about a year ago. I did understand the true meaning of worship, so I did a search online and found your website. It has been a blessing to me, and I wanted you to know. Be bless my sister!”
” I was searching for a friendly Christian site that will help me to learn about worship. It is not taught too much in my local assembly, and I really wanted to know more about praise and worship. You are encouraging Believers in Christ to know the word of God for themselves. I’m glad you have created this site just for me – accords, I will tell others about it, but I just feel like it was created for me. It’s real cool, and informative. Thanks Shelena!”
