You were healing in the pain
You were sheltered in the storm
Hallelujah You restore my soul
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
I hear You singing over me
I once was lost but now I’m found
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
It covers every part of me
My soul is silent, I am found
And it’s a beautiful sound

You must understand that this desire is there for you to endure as a good soldier. If you haven’t been translated from darkness from the world to the light of God’s Kingdom with Christ Jesus, you will NOT feel the developing need for a lifestyle of true worship.
True worship is reserved for God’s children who seek Him in genuine truth through the Holy Spirit. You were created for this purpose.
This lifestyle will deepen your experience with God; to have an intimate reciprocal relationship. Are you ready to learn basic biblical knowledge about praise and worship? Let’s read Psalm 25:5: “Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.”

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for the eternal knowledge to seek you with my whole heart. I do not know your purpose for praise and worship, so I ask for guidance and direction. Please help me to see the beauty of your word, and the hope of your coming back to us. I know that you are Spirit and that I sense my spirit working according to Genesis 4:7,” If thous doest well, shall thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” I forgive those who trespass against so I may learn of your hope. To obey Your commandments, as long as I live. Today I will worship you Lord, who is blessed forever and ever. My Lord , My Living God. I praise you. Amen.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
Romans 12:1 KJV
l. Understanding is key to Doing the Word of God
Apostle Paul teaches us to live as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1). It starts with a decision; to make a decisive dedication of your body to live a lifestyle that is holy and righteous. Consecrate your mind for this rational task according to Proverbs 3:6, “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Daily know God’s ways and recognize Him in ALL things.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
2. Do not conform any longer to what the World is saying or doing.
Remember you are a new spiritual being in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). You joined the family of God through the rational and intelligent decision by faith. You are spiritually awakened by the Holy One. Now, you have the compacity to discern between good and evil according to Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” This world judgment is set awaiting God’s ruling. You are not a part of this curse of the law. You are free to worship Him.
“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;”
Ephesians 4:23
3. Renew your mind to God’s perfect will.
Study to show yourself approved to God daily; continually renewing your mind and having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude according to 1 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” In your bible study times, you learn to take hold and keep what is pleasing to God, and reject all others things that will hold you down to the curse.
“Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.”
Proverbs 2:5
4. Worshipping God is your reasonable service.
Your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship is born from your actions. You have the ability to control yourself from this world’s conformities and customs, according to 2 Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” Worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome is to discover the knowledge of God by reading and studying the holy scriptures.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Matthew 6:24
5. Love All by Faith or Hate All because of Fear.
Before you can worship the Lord, you must choose your master, and love your neighbor according to Leviticus 19:17, “Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.” Sin will cause you to hate and enjoy your evil master. Please study the word of God on this word subject of Love or Hate. You are to love all people without hesitation. If you love yourself, then you will love those who are very hostile in this world. 1 John 4:20, “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” You can only walk by faith and not by the physical sight of these human conditions. Faith will not work along with Fear.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 4:24
6. What is your testimony?
What is true worship? Understanding the perfect will of God through your obedience (John 4:24). In Christ, you sense the need to give what is due to the name of the Lord. If you respect God and do what pleases Him most, you will do what Abel did in Hebrews 11:4, “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.” This is what your desire should be – Acceptable Worship. Will God accept your gift? True worship is to be so hopelessly in love with God that the idea of affection never even remotely exists.
“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.”
Psalm 27:4
7. Why worship is the most important thing in life?
I quote the most used phrase by the Westminster Confession of Faith, our “chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever.” Do you feel that in your longing? There is one of the best Christian authors that helped me to see the need to worship God completely, Aiden W. Tozer: “Yes, Worship of the loving God is our whole reason for existence. That is why we are born and that is why we are born again from above. That is why we were created and that is why we have been recreated. That it’s why there was a genesis at the beginning, and that is why there is a re-genesis, called regeneration. That is also why there is a church. The Christian Church exists to worship God first of all. Everything else must come second or third or fourth or fifth (What Happened to Worship. Page 56).”
“and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Ephesians 4:24
8. Who are you?
You are created in Godโs image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth (Ephesians 4:24) for devotion and praise to God according to 1 Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;” Wisdom is Godโs own possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of Him. Listen to the Spirit of God. True Worship is the fear of the Lord. Anything less is godless: for He is the Center of Human life.
Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!
Psalm 119:2
9. The greatest thing in life is to know God.
Living independently of God is fatal. You need Him to direct your path. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death (Proverbs 16:25).” “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him (James 1:5).” The Lord is real and waiting for your prayers. Get to know the Creator with lovingkindness (Jeremiah 31:3).

“The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.”
Lamentations 3:25
10. To know God is to worship Him.
Will you seek Him? This is the only way to get God’s attention with praise and thanksgiving. By faith, you believe that He is available to talk with you according to Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” If you turn from going your own way and submit yourself to Him, God will live in you. If you search for the hidden treasure, then you will find the knowledge of God (Proverbs 2:4-5). Ask God to give you understanding as you study these two words, praise and worship. Hear with your spirit, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else Isaiah 45:22).” This is the first and second commandments: Love God most of All and Worship Only Him.
“As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.”
Proverbs 11:19
11. Sin separates you from God.
Sin directs the wages to kill you, and its desire is to control your life according to 1 John 5:17, “All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death (unintentional sin – [one can repent of it and be forgiven]).” However, you should NEVER take God’s grace and mercy for granted. If you do, “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death (James 1:15).” Do not practice disobedience of God’s commands. If you do, the Creator will not hear your prayers (Isaiah 59:2), and He will surely hide His face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods (Deuteronomy 31:18).
“There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.”
Job 34:22
12. You cannot hide from the Creator.
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good (Proverbs 15:3). God does not see like mankind (1 Samuel 16:7). The Lord God looks at the heart, and not at outward appearances. Wherever you make your bed in heaven or hell, the Lord is there (Psalm 139:8). There is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:13).
“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”
Proverbs 28:13
13. You must STOP practicing sin.
Sin separates you from the presence of God. If you repented, you can turn from these evil actions. Today God is asking you this question from Deuteronomy 30:19-20:
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
Your decision to walk righteously starts at this very moment. This is the reason you click on this website page, right?! Repentance means turning from sin as well as confessing it to God. Your sins are enmity to Him. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).” Blood must be shed to remit your sins from the wages of eternal death (Hebrews 9:22).
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
14. Jesus Christ is the Lamb provided by God
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: (1 Peter 1:18-19). How much more shall the blood of Jesus offer Himself without spot to God, so that you can purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Hebrews 9:14)? Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many in which God laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Glory to the Lamb, Hallelujah! In Jesus, the Lamb of God, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7).
.The unmerited favor of grace is the mercy of God to those who believe in Jesus’ sacrifice: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time (1 Timothy 2:5-6).”

“Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.”
Proverbs 1:23
15. Welcome to God’s Family!
Be filled with the Spirit of God. Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. After this worshipping act, the gift of the Holy Spirit will rest within you (Acts 2:38). “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” In you, the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose for His good pleasure. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you (1 Corinthians 3:16)? If you don’t understand this, “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” Remember God translated you from this world’s darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:13). The angels in heaven shouting, alleluia! Welcome to the family, my Brethern.
“Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.”
Psalm 112:1
16. Praise and Worship are your duties.
Everyone thinks that praise and worship is a style of Christian music. No, they are a part of reasonable services talked about in Romans 1:21 (see above). They are living sacrifices to God according to Hebrews 13:15, “By him [Jesus] therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” Your voice is missing in this praise and worship equation. You are to give true acceptable worship from the heart. If you didn’t know this, listening to music is not worship. Why it is true? Because you are to offer a living sacrifice – a new song or thanksgiving. This is praise and worship. Stir up praise from scriptures, hymns, or spiritual songs, so you may be invited to worship God.
“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”
Ephesians 5:19
17. What is true faith?
Music is guaranteed to be unacceptable worship if you are commanded to praise and worship God His way. You are to use true faith to communicate in a genuine way to the Lord. Praise directs our faith actions, like singing, dancing, or a good deed. Verse three (3) of Psalm 40:1-3, suggests that God seeking his worshipper to sustain them, Let’s read it below:
1 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
Verse one (1) – We pray to God patiently with an open heart to hear from Him. Our cries offer up true acts of worship. Verse two (2) – God brings us horizontally up to His atmosphere and sets our feet firm on the rock of our salvation. We can be thankful as He establishes a path for us to walk this lifestyle in truth. Verse three (3) – God anoints our heads with oil, as the living water runs forth from our mouth. This is praise and worship to our God: for His name is to be praised. In church or some other place, many will see the glory of the Lord and submit to His marvelous ways. You can trust in the Lord. By faith, the Most-High God is pleased with your praise and worship on this day. Make this a daily habit.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
Colossians 3:16
18. Continually Praise the Lord
No matter what you are doing during the day, acknowledge the Lord God through praise. How many times should you praise God in a day according to Psalm 119:164, “Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.” One of those times, He will inhabit your praises again. Look forward to showing and receiving love from your Heavenly Father God. Worship is love expressed from your spirit to God’s spirit. This is what we call worshipping in spirit and in truth.
“Is anyone among you suffering? He must pray. Is anyone joyful? He is to sing praises [to God].”
James 5:13
19. Practice the Acceptable Worship Habit
“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear (Hebrews 12:28):” If Jesus is your Lord, show gratitude each day. Practice until you don’t think about it anymore. You will just do it without hesitation. Offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8). He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love (1 John 4:8).
