Your story is the unique way God can drew you closer to Him, and start the good work of transforming – cleaning you up and making you whole. This is a journey in this life, and that’s what some people needs to desperately hear about or read it.

Let me help you through how to formulate your story and start sharing it with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ by asking this one question:

What happen when you met with your savior, Jesus Christ?

Yes, you have a story to tell. The scriptures tells us in Revelation 12:11 that we overcome through the blood of Jesus and our personal stories. We can never be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of our brethren cannot praise and worship effectively due to fear. Hopefully after reading or hearing your story, they will change and never be afraid to worship in public. Your faith has made them whole.

What will it feel like to see God change someone’s life through your story?

Praise the Lord for His goodness towards us!

What to Read Next? Discover Your Story: Help with Writing it Out

Everyone has a story to tell! Do you remember the old-fashion testimony times at church? Where you can get up to share the goodness of God. Your story online is just like that – it’s that simple.

After meeting Jesus, you told everyone that you could. Why? Because he delivered you from your sins, and freed you to liberty in Him. Right? This is the question from your story matters. Sharing that change is possible. Sharing your story is not a new idea. In the gospels we read that happening all of the time. The good news of the gospel.

Every good news starts with us spreading what happen. You tell someone about it without hesitation. Because it is the truth as you know it to be! We believe it, take hold of it, and spread it in our conversations. We will have no problem in answering this question:

What happen to you when you met Jesus?

What would you say? In the book of John chapter 9 the Pharisee investigates the healing of a blind man. Do you remember his response to the leaders (who didn’t believe in Jesus Christ)? Now this is my adapted verse: “Listen I don’t know what your talking about, but I do know this – I was blind, but now I can see you. Why? I just told you this. Do you want to be a disciple or something? No, the leaders replied with insults to the man healed by Jesus. Saying to [the use to be blind] man, you are His disciple. We are disciple of Moses. We don’t no where this MAN comes from? Oh really, said [the use to be blind] man, you are asking a dumb question. You see my eyes open don’t you.”

This is the part that is so wonderful. The healed man give the leaders some great advise. “(v.31) We know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and do his will, him he heareth. (v.32) Since the world began it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of a man born blind. (v.33) If this man were not from God, he could do nothing. (v.34) They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. (v.35) Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and finding him, he said, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? (v.36) He answered and said, And who is he, Lord, that I may believe on him? (v.37) Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and he it is that speaketh with thee. (v.38) And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.”

I’m telling you this story due to the blind man encounter Jesus Christ. He told of this meeting as he knew it, until Jesus introduce Himself to the healed man. What did the healed man do? Confess what he believe and worshipped Jesus.

Your story matters. Yes it does! Do a little soul-searching, ask the Holy Spirit to give you the inspiration through your prayers, and act on your belief through your story. Remember any personal struggle that God has walked you through (Oh yes, He has!) God is a faithful God. People need to read your story or stories online. You’re the only one who can tell them.

God is counting on you to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. He wants to use your story to free your brother or sister in Christ to worship unashamed. In your story, Jesus Christ who lives is known to the world – and the internet (online) shouldn’t be any different.
