#7 True Worshipper: Salvation Equals a Repentance Heart in Righteousness

From the List of Unacceptable Worship Actions Towards God

#7 Not having a repentance heart of humility towards God.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Many have heard this righteous call to “Repent.” What is stopping many from doing so? Fear. If you believe it or not, it is your beginning of understanding (Proverbs 9:10). To reverently fear is to have respect for God. You can never submit to whom you do not believe exist? The bible tells us that you are ignorant of His existence, or divine nature (Romans 1:20). Not that you couldn’t have found Him by calling out in prayer. All you have to do is to have a repentance heart before God. In His great mercy, God made a way through renewing the mind according to Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

You must repent to renew yourself!

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.”

Psalm 15:2 from the King James Version

Saying a confession isn’t enough (Romans 10:9), but you need to let God change your thinking in this world. Then, you will understand that sin is causing you to be separate from God. The bible tells us in Genesis 4:7 by God himself that sin will try to control us but don’t let it!

How can I control sin in my life? Live in righteousness and holiness in this world (1 Peter 2:24). This is not easy without Jesus’ Helper, the gift of truth (John 15:26). How can I accept this free gift? I will tell you, but first, let me say the following statement:

Remorse takes place in sorrow, this is the act of repenting. To repent means to walk away from something (deliverance from the fleshly desires and sin) towards something else (freedom in Christ, plus God’s love, grace, and mercy).

Sin is meant to control the mind and body. You can see this from birth until repentance. You don’t have to teach children to be selfish or greedy. Why? Sin is there to control the mind until you accept the free gift of salvation (deliverance from sin’s control of you). In Christ, there is hope (Colossians 1:13)! Things will change in your heart; the central control of the mind. The great decision-maker. We use this inward part every day. To believe or not to believe something. Rationally thinking about what’s treasures do we hold? Hopefully, you can see the need for salvation.

After the fall of mankind, sin is the dominant voice suggesting to do as thy will. Completely separating you from God’s presence. Following the flesh will cause you to sin, and shorten your life expectancy (Romans 6:23). Having fun without the knowledge of the true purpose or intent. The board road to destruction and damnation is its end, and hell is the objective. There’s no turning back, being sorrowful, or remorseful. You sowed the wages of sin. Is it still funny to take this trip Hell?

Every immortal act of evil against the divine laws of God is sin, and sometimes, causes you to walk away from God’s protection and safety. Whether you believe in God or not. The verdict of sin has been read in John 3:19-21, “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

Jesus Christ is the light of the world (John 14:6). He was sent not to condemn us, but to deliver us from sin (John 3:17).

Would you like to know the truth about “true repentance”? You will have a heart of humility. To humble yourself in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Bow down in worship before Almighty God. You will no longer submit to the dictatorial slave master of death (sin), and turn towards your loving Almighty God. Never return to the world, and its desires to control your mind to do fleshy things against your body. But, be filled with the spirit of God, the Truth.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

Acts 2:38 from the King James Version

Confessing Jesus Christ is the only way out from your fallen state of sin (Genesis chapter 3; John 14:6; Romans 10:9-10), and do away with those things that cause you to continue walking in sin! The Holy Bible of the Living God has all the answers to the renewal of the mind and body. Anyone resisting the truth is in love with the Devil, and can never worship God in “spirit and truth” (John 4:24), or walk-in righteousness (Romans 8:4).

Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.”

Hosea 14:9 from the King James Version
