Communication is Needed when Worshipping God

Learning God’s Principles about Worship

What is communication? It is the act of communicating with the exchange of ideas or behaviors.

Man’s first act of worship was founded in Genesis chapter 3, Cain and Abel are communicating to God through their offering. Whether good or bad, contact through sound is universal; to be awaken of an expression and experience what your needs are, like the use of prayer.

“The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Proverbs 15:29 KJV

In relationships, communication allows you to explain to someone else what you are experiencing and what your expectations are. This act of communicating helps you to stay connected.

To have contact with God, you will correspond to Him according to the principles set from scriptures, like Proverbs 3:6, which states,
“Acknowledge Him in all your ways.” Your actions must be in obedience to His will and purpose. It takes two people to have an open discussion to avoid misunderstanding that cause hurts, anger, or resentment. With God, He hears the prayer of the consistently righteous in heart.

God loved you first by openingly sharing the gospel with you. After understanding what righteousness and holiness is, you decide to pray to Him because you have spiritual integrity and moral courage to believe in the Lord. Your prayers are expressed to help yourself and others, so you communicate your needs and wants. This is a start, but it’s not effective without the required principles to work on (practice).

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”

1 Peter 3:12 KJV

If you read Genesis chapter four, you with witness the testimony of Seth’s grandson, E’nos. He started to call upon the name of the Lord, and that sound caught God’s attention. God’s presence was felt. However, mankind bent to sin, still until today’s knowledge, stop basic reveal of righteousness and holiness.

Don’t have sin to control you, or stop you from having a recipercol relationship with the Creator God of this Universe. To be an effective true worshipper of His, you must worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24) with favor in His sight, like Enoch and Noah.

God is daily seeking those who wants to have a good communication with Him (Psalm 33:13). Will you be one? Rationally think about it.

If you are a mature Believer, are you willing to communicate (1 Timothy 6:17-19)? Selah.

God is not looking for any old communication, he is looking for a fresh and new rapport. Make it delightful and joyous!
