Praise and Worship Devotional for June 18

Worship the Lord

Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the Lord with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

Hezekiah gave the signal to begin worshipping God. They sang their praises with joy and reverence, kneeling in worship.

They were thankful for cleaning up the Temple, because of the misuse by King Ahaz. Consecrating all the vessels was before the altar of God because they needed to atone for the sins of all Israel. Turning back to the righteous and holy God.

When you fall down from the grace of God, please don’t beat yourself up, get up and turn your heart back to Him. When the offering of the sacrifice was completed, King Hezekiel and everyone there knelt on the ground and worshiped. You too can do the same.

The dedication of the Temple is complete—you’re consecrated to God. Believe it and don’t take His grace for granted again.
