Praise and Worship Devotional for June 29

Worship the Lord

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”

The devil came to tempt the Lord Jesus to bow and worship him. This is what Jesus said, “Get away from me, Satan! You know that you must worship the Lord your God. Serve only Him!”

What Jesus, our Savior, is saying to the devil still exists today? He models what you should know from the scriptures. This is the first commandment of the Old Testament (Exodus 20). Worship ONLY God!

If you are worshipping anything other than Almighty God or focusing on more, you are being disobedient. Please stop and restore yourself in the Name and the Blood of Jesus.

Whatever you value most of all, that is the thing you worship. Your heart will be where your treasure is (Matthew 6:21).

If you have a praise report to share, post it in the comment area. Thanks!
