For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.

The Chief of the Levites give praise and thanks to God after the orders of King David; one division singing in response to the men in the opposite division.

We learned this action in many congregations with many worship leaders in the beginning of service. Today you have a real responsibility to bring a sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord.

Let your temple know that the Living God is holy, righteous, and awesome! Sing Hallelujah for He is worthy to be praise in ancient times as well as today.
