“Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,“

Some people enjoy acting as if they are humble and love to worship angels. They always talk about the visions they have seen. Don’t listen to them when they say you are wrong because you don’t do these things. It is foolish for them to feel such pride because it is all based on their own ideas.

God resisted the proud but gave grace unto the humble (James 4:6). Be careful! When you do something good, don’t do it in front of others so that they will see you. If you do that, you will have no reward from your Father in Heaven. “Who will render to every man according to his deeds:”(Romans 2:6). In other words, He will reward or punish everyone for what they have done on this earth.

Do what God’s teaching says; don’t just listen and do nothing. When you only sit and listen, you are fooling yourselves, just like the vain imagination and worshipping of angels are the deeds of the flesh. Can clean and unclean walk together? You know the answer. God will never accept this worthless worship. The only thing that they will see is their just reward.

Let God, not man, grow you up spiritually.
