Praise and Worship Devotional for June 24

Worship the Lord

Lift up your voice and sing. Let start with a song by Byron Cage called Worship the King.

Lyrics to Worship the King:

Come let us ascend to the high place,
The holy mountain where God dwells.
Let us enter in, to the Holy place,
Worship the King, worship the King.
Worship the King, worship the King.
He is high and lifted up in this place.
Worship the King, worship the King.
He is high and lifted up in this place.
Worship the King.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

It will come to pass in that day that a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were lost and perishing in the land of Assyria and who were scattered in the land of Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain at Jerusalem (The Message Bible).

Prayer today for the lost in the world and for new Believers in Christ Jesus. Let all prodigals come home to the Lord. Scatter God’s love in the spirit all the earth and worship the Lord on the holy Temple (your body is that temple). You are to pray and worship the Holy One daily. Be ready when you hear the great trumpet, like the parable of ten virgins (see Matthew 25).

Prepare yourself through Prayer. The kingdom of God is at hand.

The fervent prayers of the righteous are our worship. Always remember that!

Let’s Pray:

Father God,

We come to you today with a longing to stir the spirit. Let all worship your holy Name. We look forward to Your coming, as we continue to pray for the hurt and the weak. We all need you. Help us to stay connected to Your Word and Cling to righteousness and holiness.

Let our praise give You a perfect smile.

We love you Lord with all of our hearts, minds, and souls in the mighty name of Jesus.

Amen.
