Worshipping God

“The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.”

“But the servant fell on his knees and begged, ‘Be patient with me. I will pay you everything I owe.’

The Lord of that servant was moved with compassion and loosed him from prison, and forgave him the debt.

You may be saying to yourself, “Glory Hallelujah!” However, when words went back to the Lord of that servant about not extending grace to the servant that own him. He was called wicked because the servant’s trespass was forgiven, but he could not overlook someone else’s trespass.

What patience has the servant done? He had none at all! He did not follow the instructions given to him, like in the Lord’s prayer. Everyone owns a sin debt. What does Matthew 5: 12 tell us to do:

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”

Forgive our sins, just as we have forgiven those who did wrong to us. Please think about this, and own nobody, including yourself, but love.
